For the time being, the above image is the only one with a Sierpinski tetrahedron on the page.

There may be problems with the printed coloring sheets. I made what should have been black and white scans as jpgs and some printers, perhaps most of them, will show a border of gray around all the lines, causing the prints to look dirty. If need be I will rescan them in black and white, probably as gifs.

Since the butterflies are often small in the images, it is important that they print as large as possible. Print "Landscape" unless "Portrait" is indicated, then choose "best fit to page" when printing and this will give you the largest possible coloring image. Mozilla Firefox users: to get the largest possible coloring image, choose File, Print Preview, and scale image up or down until it just fits on one page.

Above and below are Monarchs. The one below is a Queen that was malformed in the chrysalis. It still got around alright, though.

This picture and the one below of a Painted Lady were taken at the same time in Spring 2004. I have permission from the parents to use the images on my website, and have included small versions of them. The enlargements, however, zoom in on the butterfly. No need to give closeup pictures of the children, and besides, while the children are beautiful, the butterfly is the star!

I took these two images of a little girl in Spring 2004, and her parents have the originals. I wasn't able to reach them to get web permission for the photos, so her face is cropped out of the first one even though it doesn't identify her, I still felt uncomfortable putting it up, and the second was face-on, so I only put up the coloring page. A Spicebush Swallowtail was attracted to her bright pink shirt. Print Portrait.

The butterflies above and below, and the butterfly at the top of the page, are Zebra Longwings.

This Julia is puddling, but it isn't sitting in a puddle, what you see is its shadow! I took this picture of my then 20-month-old granddaughter, Sydney, looking through her Spiderman magnifying spyglasses, in March 2005. The image isn't available at this time to put up.

This image is also up without a corresponding photograph.
It is another Julia.
